SEE & DO
This thatched-roof replica of a rural village in Ireland’s most north westerly county offers a glimpse into daily life as it was during past centuries.
The Folk Village Museum is a cluster of several small cottages, called a ‘clachan’, perched on a hillside overlooking the sandy curve of Glen Bay Beach in the Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking area) of South West Donegal. Designed, built and maintained by the local people, the Folk Village is one of Ireland's best living-history museums.
Don’t miss your opportunity to visit one of Ireland’s best kept secrets and a signature point on the Wild Atlantic Way. Located in south west Donegal along this magnificent costal driving route are Ireland’s highest Sea Cliffs, Sliabh Liag. A visit to the cliffs and the surrounding region is a must on your Wild Atlantic Way adventure.
We run tours to the magnificent Sliabh Liag Cliffs, the highest sea cliffs in Europe standing 600m (1972 feet ).
We get close to the shore to appreciate this spectacular sight.
Sometimes we are joined by wildlife like dolphins, whales, seals, and in May and June.
Escape to Ireland’s beautiful North West with one of our unique cycling or walking tours. Allow yourself to be awe-struck by the beauty of your surroundings. Feel at home with the genuine warmth of the local hospitality. Let the salty sea breezes soothe your senses as you explore Ireland’s most off-the-beaten-track region.I'm a paragraph.
