An Scrín, is a superb self catering rental property, nestled at the foothills of ' Sliabh Liag' (Slieve League), the highest sea cliffs in Europe. It is fortunate to have unimpeded sea views of Teelin Bay and is based in Teelin, a Gaeltacht area, where the Irish language is a daily reality.

It is ideally located for fishing, hillwalking, cycling, scuba diving, kayaking and most importantly its traditional music. The property sleeps 10 and is available for weekly, monthly and weekend lets.

Apologies in advance but we do not take bookings from student groups, stag or hen parties. No pets permitted

An Scrin is clean, contemporary and comfortable, with the emphasis on space for all who stay there. There are four double bedrooms, one being ensuite and two single bedrooms. There are also two family bathrooms.  The sitting room has ample seating  for full capacity and has a lovely fire for the chilly evenings.  The kitchen is large enough for family gatherings and has all modern and well maintained appliances.

Glen Folk Village

This thatched-roof replica of a rural village in Ireland’s most north westerly county offers a glimpse into daily life as it was during past centuries.

The Folk Village Museum is a cluster of several small cottages, called a ‘clachan’, perched on a hillside overlooking the sandy curve of Glen Bay Beach in the Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking area) of South West Donegal. Designed, built and maintained by the local people, the Folk Village is one of Ireland's best living-history museums.

Sliabh Liag

Don’t miss your opportunity to visit one of Ireland’s best kept secrets and a signature point on the Wild Atlantic Way. Located in south west Donegal along this magnificent costal driving route are Ireland’s highest Sea Cliffs, Sliabh Liag. A visit to the cliffs and the surrounding region is a must on your Wild Atlantic Way adventure.

Sliabh liag Boat Trips

We run tours to the  magnificent Sliabh Liag Cliffs, the highest sea cliffs in Europe standing 600m (1972 feet ).
We get close to the shore to appreciate this spectacular sight.
Sometimes we are joined by wildlife like dolphins, whales, seals, and in May and June.
